Our Four Step Model
1. Creating AwarenessIt isn't about being informed. We are passing on God’s love for the lost.
2. Inspiring InvolvementThose who are motivated to participate in our mission are given the chance to act.
3. Empowering ActionWe're committed to the long term success of our world changers, regardless of how their calling takes form.
4. Guiding Success
Rise Campaign serves YWAM Frontier Missions, one of the largest branches of the global YWAM movement. Rise exists to help give everyone in the world the opportunity to know Jesus we focus on partnering. We are a mobilization initiative, sending and sustaining missionaries is not our purpose. To fulfill our vision, we rely on our partners to train and send young people to share the Gospel with the unreached. In turn, our partners help open the doors for mobilization by hosting events and distributing our message and material. Our success is based on the success of our partners.
We are mobilizers, disciplers, communicators, creatives, and missionaries laser focused on a simple task: to inspire young Jesus followers to share the Gospel with those who have never heard it.
In the summer of 2012 a small team of us went as a team to a remote part of South Asia to film stories that showed the worth of people that the world had forgotten. In 2014 we finally launched the film, toured with it, and recruited people to step out and reach the unreached. We didn’t set out to start an organization, or to shape a new model of missions. But we did, and we’re just getting started.
Our 6 Distinct Values
Roots to Fruits
In every part of a life, community, or nation only the Gospel has the power to heal the root issues that cause brokenness & injustice.
Words should reflect deeds. We are simple, honest, transparent, and self-evaluating.
Our inspiration is God’s value for mankind and the confidence that His plans are both good and guaranteed to succeed. We will not motivate others with guilt, fear, anger, or obligation.
We don’t believe in competing with like-minded organizations: we are on the same team. Instead, we partner, when possible.
Intimacy to Impact
Our labor is a fruit of our relationship with God. As we cultivate a personal relationship with God, he will motivate and empower our work.
To do everything with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength so that it is the best that we are capable of.
We are determined to give everyone the opportunity to know Jesus.
We are rallying young people to use their skills, calling, and passion to reach the unreached.
People exist to have a relationship with God and God’s core passion is to give them that opportunity (Acts 17: 24-27). Keith Wright puts it this way: “Lost people matter to God, and so they must matter to us.” There are many people, nearly 2 billion, who don’t have the opportunity to have a personal relationship with God. The word ‘Missions’ is a Latin word first used to express Jesus having ‘sent out’ his disciples to preach in His name. Jesus continues to ‘send us out’ as the center of His strategy for reaching the unreached.
What is Mobilization?
‘Mobilize’ is defined as “bringing people together for action”. The greatest need in missions is for more mobilizers – people who will influence the church to share the Gospel among the unreached.
Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Luke 10:2). Mobilization exists to answer His prayer, it’s a movement to intentionally raise up more workers who will go cross-culturally to share Jesus’ message with those who have never heard it.
Why Young People?
As a ministry, we have felt a call to focus on raising up the next generation of cross-cultural missionaries. Young people are historically the catalysts of social change. Their contagious passion and creativity are a key to God’s bigger plan to reach the nations. Whether it’s starting skateboarding companies in China to help connect with young people or starting Coffeeshops in Thailand that open the door to evangelism among university students, young people are pioneering unique and strategic initiatives for reaching the unreached.
